GETTING MY SMILE BACK IN ALGODONES

IN MY YOUTH, I NEGLECTED MY TEETH.   Take my word for this fact:  It is soooo much easier (and cheaper) to take care of teeth than to repair them.
BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS;  It is possible to fix neglected teeth.  In the past 15years I have been repairing my teeth---in many ways--crowns, root canals, implants,  Apicoectomy ect.  I have done whatever it took and now my teeth are stable--firmly imbeded in my bones and functional. I show you the latest (and final?) chapter in my restorative drama.

AND OH YES!!! ONLY IN MEXICO COULD I POSSIBLY AFFORD TO HAVE THIS DONE.
My 4th implant has been healing (osseointegrating) for several months and now it's time to install the last tooth. That's Dr Edgar --one of Rubio's Associates putting the "capstone" on my 15 year "monument".

An  x-ray showing the final implant--ready for it's crown.

There's the unhappy gap that is ready to be filled.

And there's the final X-ray after it's installed.

My smile restored at last --I hug my expert, Dr Edgar.

Afterwards, I'm so happy that I ask for a few moments with the great doctor and founder himself: Carlos Rubio. (That's him on the right)
On the left is co-owner Dr Ernesto Montoya.
Not shown is the third partner Dr Cesar Monarrez.
I thanked them for their professionalism, told them I would feature them on my blogsite and that I would post their Website.

RANDY PHILOSOPHIZES:  Even though my work is all done, I continue to support this clinic because I know the suffering of so many people in America that just cannot afford American dentistry prices. The Rubio Clinic is the largest and most modern and high Tec in Algodones and charges  a fraction  of those in America.  Dr Rubio has personally installed more than 10,000 implants and is very likely the best in the world at that proceedure---often teaching American dentist.

I give this public thanks to the entire Rubio team (most of whom have worked on me at some point)
for their great work and my restored smile.

UPDATE:  I've just heard from the Rubio team--they've seen this blogpost and want me to tell you that there's been a breakthrough in implants---the new ones will osseointegrate in half the time as the old and Rubio Associates guarantees them for a LIFETIME.
All other work his office does is guaranteed for 4 years.
AND THEY SEEM SO HAPPY WITH THIS POST THAT THEY WILL GIVE A 15% DISCOUNT ON ANYONE WHO MENTIONS THIS POST.  JUST SAY RANDY SENT ME.

  1. Thanks for this advocacy. That basic dentistry has become so expensive in the U.S. is shameful. And look at you ... all beautiful once again!

  3. The most expensive part of my dental history was what I paid for neglect.
    Lesson learned!
The USAF sure did a lot of work for me way back when, and I am still grateful.
Kimbopolo is right. It is shameful what has been forced on American dental patients.
I know the pain and freedom from it, too.

I'm going to tell you something amigos & I need you guys to SIT DOWN or you'll fall due to the shock, I haven't had a cavity in 40 years !!! How is that ? Is due to excellent oral hygiene. People in general brush their teeth & THAT'S IT !! Well, what about brushing your gums top & bottom, what about flossing & cleaning your tongue ? & what about using Plax before brushing & fluoride solution after a good washing / rinsing. It will take me a good 20+ minutes for the whole operation to be done ( 2 times a day ), but.... 40 years without cavities it's worth it !!!!!!
